The 4th of July is right around the corner!! I don’t know about you, but we have a big barbeque with lots of festive food! I love really easy ideas. When I was serving berries for breakfast the other day, I added whipped cream for my hubby (it’s the only way he’ll eat them) and I notice – hey – these are red, white and blue!
I’m sure it’s not a unique idea – I bet if you search pintrest you’ll see it in a hundred places, but here you have it. Just strawberries (or raspberries), blueberries and some bright white whipping cream! A festive dessert.
Want to garnish your drinks for the holiday?
Slice some BIG strawberries into thick slices. Using a star shaped cookie cutter, cut them into stars. Thread them onto skewers with blueberries and pop them into the drinks you serve! (This is lemon juice with 4 Tablespoons sugar dissolved in it, topped with sparkling water and berries.)
