What’s for Dinner? Sunday link up #225

Halloween is over and a lot of people are already in Christmas mode. It seems me some folks go from gimme gimme Halloween to gimme gimme Christmas. Please don’t get me wrong – I love both of the holidays. But I also treasure the time in between where I can reflect on all the beauty in my life – all the wonderful things I have to be thankful for, like my amazing family – the joy I get from my day job – the beauty of watching the wind blow the leaves or the snow fall. Just the mere fact that I can see it is cause for thanksgiving. So what are you thankful for this month? Oh, and …

Hi, Helen! I love the fall and Thanksgiving, as well, because all you give is thanks, and you get to share a meal with loved ones. I missed the Canadian one this year because I was in Mexico, so I am thankful for another chance to celebrate the American one this month. I also missed your last party since, as part of my trip, I attended one of my niece’s wedding that weekend, so many thanks for hosting every week, I am glad to be back! I am sharing #7 Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Patties. Have a wonderful week!

I’m so glad you’re back too! I have missed some of my favorite parties recently – just too busy to get there on time – so I totally understand. Gotta go check out your patties! They sound great!

  2. So excited for Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite holiday. I love that one of the top posts from last week was roasted veggies! I love them so much!

  5. Thank you for featuring my milkshake!! Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 10-28 to 11-1 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was a Raspberry Custard Pie. Wednesday I posted a Blackberry Cobbler. Wrapping up this week of fruity pies, cobblers and tarts I highlighted a Key Lime Tart. Enjoy!

  6. Tamy says:

Another GREAT party – THANK YOU for hosting. I brought my PIRI PIRI CHICKEN, PEPPERED COLESLAW and BACON WRAPPED SPAM BITES to the party. I hope you have a FANTASTIC week.

  7. I love the flavor of brown butter, so those cookies sound like a wonderful idea! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Hasselback Potatoes. Hope you enjoy.

  8. Jenna says:

Thank you Helen! I agree, let’s not rush to Christmas, I think of November as kind of a lull, a time to catch my breath before the holiday hustle bustle! With Thanksgiving so late this year, it should be a busy December!
