Potted Pork
This delicious spread is great on crackers or sliced baguette. It works as a sandwich spread too! A super easy and wonderfully tasteful way to use any left over pork too!

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cup cooked pork
  • 1/2 cup melted ghee (you can substitute butter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh, minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup cognac or brandy (optional)
  • pinch sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon spice mix
Spice mix
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Place 1/4 cup of the ghee and all the other ingredients into a food processor. 

  2. Process everything on high until it is a smooth and creamy mixture.

  3. Place in a bowl and pour the remaining ghee over the top. 

  4. Chill for at least two hours.

  5. Serve cold or at room temperature with crackers or smalls bread rounds. 
Spice Mix
  1. Blend all the ingredients together well. Store in an airtight container.
