Popcorn Four Ways
Some days get so busy the last thing I want to do is cook - and the leftovers just don't sound good. And that's when I get out the popcorn. We've been known to have popcorn for dinner often - and we love it! And did you know it's good for you?

Ingredients
  • 3 to 4 Tablespoons oil, olive or peanut
  • 2 heaping Tablespoons popcorn kernels
Bacon and Chipotle Popcorn
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon McCormicks Bacon and Chipotle Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Bacon bits
Smokey Garlic Flavor
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons olive or peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Sea Salt and Vinegar Flavor
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar powder
Cheesy Garlicy Popcorn
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons olive
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Start with either yellow or white popcorn. Heat a large pan and add some peanut or olive oil on high heat.

  2. Put the popcorn on top of that and cover it.

  3. When you hear the popping start, give it a shake. Tip the lid to the side to vent the steam and shake gently.

  4. Keep listening. When the popping slows, turn the heat off and dump the popped corn into a large bowl. Now you're ready for the toppings!

Smokey Garlic Flavor
  1. Mix some olive oil, garlic salt, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Toss it well and dig in!

Bacon and Chipotle Popcorn
  1. It's that McCormick seasoning again! I love these on everything.

Toss with some peanut oil and the seasoning - a little bit of bacon bits too!

The Brown Sugar and Bourbon is great on popcorn too!

Sea Salt and Vinegar Popcorn
  1. In a large bowl toss the popped corn with olive oil, sea salt and vinegar powder. I like the malt vinegar.

Cheesy Garlicy Popcorn
  1. My sister and I make this every time we go to the beach for the night. Toss the corn with the canned parmesan cheese, garlic powder and sea salt.

There are a few ideas, I bet you can come up with even more! Happy popping!

Recipe Notes

You can add or subtract any of the flavoring amounts based on how intense you want them to be. We like a lot!!
