Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

A sweet way to get your vegetables. Tossed in sweet syrup and roasted to fork tender.

Ingredients
  • 16 Brussels Sprouts, cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Toss all the ingredients together in a large bowl, making sure the onions and Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

  2. Move to a large, non-stick baking sheet. (you can cover the baking sheet with parchment or silpat baking pads). Spread the vegetables out in a single layer.

  3. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

  4. Bake for about 10 minutes, then stir everything around, respreading it evenly.

  5. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes, until the sprouts are fork tender.

  6. Serve HOT!
