Pistachio Rice

Ingredients
  • 2 cups white basmati rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3-4 tablespoons coarsely chopped pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Chop the pistachios and put them and half the butter, along with all the other ingredients into the rice cooker.                                    

  2. Turn on the rice cooker and let it cook.

  3. Add the remaining butter and replace the cover. After about five minutes, fluff the rice and serve.

  4. Add a few more pistachios as a garnish.
