Lox is the meat from the belly of the salmon that is cured with salt. It’s not raw, but “cooked” by the salt. It’s delicious!! If you like salmon I think you’d like it! You can also use smoked salmon instead.

  3. Helen, this post was by far the most clicked on the Blogger’s Pit Stop #56. Congratulations, be looking for a feature on Friday.

  4. I LOVE this idea, but I have a huge problem. I can’t have an avocado around the house without turning it into guacamole! Seriously, I just. can’t. do it. But if I ever find a way to manage it (or if all these avocado trees in the backyard finally start producing), then I want to try this! Thanks for sharing at #FridayFrivolity this week!

I wish we had trees! We go through lots of avocados!! Try a sandwich with some red onion and avocado – so good!
